SENIOR CITIZENS - Shirley Duggins presided with 45 members present at the meeting of October 7.
The meeting opened with a hymn with Megan at the piano. Peggy Clement gave the Reading and members joined in the Lord's prayer.
Marion James is in hospital. Birthday greetings were sung for Luther Thomas, 96 last week and Nansi Harries.
Raffle prizes were given by Geraldine and Margaret. Arthur donated £10 and there was an anonymous gift of £10.
There are two new members Marie Davies and Ron Wilson.
The minutes were read and moved as correct by Nancy and Jean.
As the booked speaker had to cancel, the entertainment was bingo with Shirley caller and Trevor checking numbers. There were several happy winners in teh three games played.
The raffle was drawn and won by Eryl and Gladys. Many thanks to Barclays Bank who gave us a supply of free pens.
The Doxology and refreshments ended the meeting.
