SENIOR CITIZENS - The group met on September 2. Shirley Duggins presided and welcomed members. The meeting opened with a hymn with Megan at the piano. Wendy Meachan gave the reading, members then joined in the Lord's prayer.
Val Thomas is home after a spell in hospital, Bethan Lewis is still unwell.
We welcomed a new member, Mrs Val Haynes. Mr Trevor Jones our vice president donated £40 and Luther Thomas £25, many thanks to you both.
Raffle prizes were given by Howell, Peter, Sara and Anita.
A letter of thanks was received from Luther.
The trip to Haverfordwest on September 30 was discussed and names and menu choices were noted.
The entertainment today was a quiz, the pleasing result was a draw between teams A and B.
The raffle was won by Iris, Don, Arthur and Joan.
The Doxology and refreshments ended the meeting.
