THIS week's old picture pays tribute to an Ammanford man killed in the Spanish Civil War.
Sam Morris, formerly of New Road, was among the scores of Amman Valley residents who fought in the civil war between 1936 and 1939.
The 29-year-old, pictured (middle, back), was one of the founder members of the Pick and Shovel, High Street.
