THOUSANDS turned out at the street fayre for the Princes Risborough Street Festival as the rain held off.
Former Doctor Who and Free Press columnist Colin Baker was the special guest at Saturday's fayre and was chauffeured down the High Street in an open-top Buick.
Mr Baker told the crowd how lucky they were to live in Princes Risborough. He said it was not too big to lose its character, like places such as High Wycombe but was not too small to lack shops.
There were a number of bands entertaining visitors, as well as stalls manned by community members, many of whom turned out in fancy dress under this year's theme of fairy tales.
The street festival ended on Sunday with a church service at the Baptist Church, Bell Street.
