TAKE a ride at this year's Bucks Asian Mela as a new Pakistani bus prepares to add even more colour to this year's festival.
The bus, which has come direct from Lahore, will be one of the main attractions of the mela which will be held on August 5, on The Rye, High Wycombe.
Event organisers, Asian Arts 2000, are hoping this will be their best ever event and are encouraging people from all communities to come along.
Arif Hussain, of Asian Arts 2000, said: "We are trying to make this to be the most colourful and traditional event in the country. We have a team of sportsmen coming down from Yorkshire to demonstrate some of the traditional Asian sports including Stone Lifting, Wrist Wrestling & Mungli. But the real treat for mela goers will be the bus from Lahore."
Last year's event attracted more than 10,000 people from around the country who enjoyed music bands, traditional Asian cuisines and a range of entertainment for the whole family.
