MOTORISTS suffered long delays after an extraordinary road accident.
A rubbish lorry overturned at the junction of Glenister Road and Parker Knoll Way, High Wycombe, outside the Safeway store, at 9.50am on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old driver was taken to Wycombe Hospital suffering from concussion and was later released. Police have not given any indication of why the lorry overturned.
Traffic was delayed as police investigated the scene and worked to move the lorry. Police want to speak to a female motorist who gave officers information about the crash but drove off before they could take her details.
Witnesses should call Sgt Mark Williams or PC Phil Ince of High Wycombe police on 01494 465888.
