SHAKEN Ulhayarani Sivapalan was threatened by an armed robber who took out a knife after asking for cough medicine.
The shop owner from News Stores, in Desborough Avenue, High Wycombe, has been left £350 out of pocket after the robbery on June 19.
Mrs Sivapalan was working on her own in the shop at 2.40pm when the man walked in.
She said: "He came in with a handkerchief over his mouth and coughing. He said it was bad and asked where the medicine was.
"After he picked up some cough medicine he wandered around the shop looking at things.
"He put the medicine on the counter," explained Mrs Sivapalan. "Then he took out a knife from inside his sleeve."
She added: "He said he wanted money. He came round the side of the till and took £350. I was very scared."
The robber is described as white, about 18 years old, 5ft 7in to 5ft 11in and of slim build. He was wearing a grey hooded top, shorts and trainers.
