DONATIONS are pouring in to a fund set up to support the children of two women killed in High Wycombe's tragic lorry crash.
Maggie Doel, 48, a sales negotiator, and Sally Jamieson, 40, a customer, were killed when a lorry careered into Aitchisons Estate Agents in Easton Street, on June 14.
Aitchisons and the Free Press have established a trust fund to support the five children of Maggie and Sally.
Since the fund was launched on Friday, cheques have been flooding in the newspaper's offices together with messages of support.
Now the organisers of the Wycombe Half Marathon have offered to make the trust fund appeal the chosen charity of the race when the race is held on July 15.
The money collected will be divided between Maggie's children, Gary, 22, Mark, 20, and Tim, 15, and Sally's two sons Benjamin, four, and Joshua, two.
Donations should be made out to 'Doel and Jamieson Fund Ref MNE'. Send donations to: James Clements, Bucks Free Press Group, Gomm Road, High Wycombe, HP13 7DW.
