WYCOMBE fans are delighted with the news that they will receive the same number of tickets as Liverpool fans for the FA Cup semi-final match.
The tie will take place at Villa Park in Birmingham and the even split means up to 20,000 tickets could be made available to Wycombe fans, ensuring a great day out for the town.
Wanderers directors expect to make an announcement about the sale of the tickets after a board meeting on Thursday afternoon. Details will be posted on the club's official website on Thursday evening or Friday morning.
The semi-final will take place on April 8 with the kick off at 4pm and it will be screened live on ITV.
Meanwhile, Roy Essandoh, the man who got Wycombe there with his dramatic injury-time winning goal against Leicester, is also having to play a waiting game.
He's on a week-to-week contract at Adams Park and is still in negotiations with boss Lawrie Sanchez as he hopes to secure a long term contract. He played the full 90 minutes in last night's league match against Stoke but couldn't repeat his cup scoring heroics and Wycombe were beaten 1-0.
