FLACKWELL Heath Football Club got the go ahead to play their third division clash against Corinthian Casuals just 50 minutes before kick-off on Saturday and were glad they did when they ran out 2-0 winners.
It remained goalless until after the break when Jamie Charles showed his pace to run down the left wing and unleash an unstoppable shot past keeper Hotchkiss.
A Neil Catlin effort was ruled offside but Lee Watson made sure of all three points when he rounded the keeper to pick his spot on 77 minutes.
Elsewhere, local Ryman League sides Chesham, Thame and Chalfont had their matches postponed following heavy rain.
