CHESHAM United Football Club moved up to fifth in the Ryman Premier Division after netting eight goals in two games during their Easter programme.
United's most satisfying win of the two came on Monday with a 5-1 win over mid-table St Albans.
The side are managed by former Meadow boss John Kendall, who walked out on the Chesham earlier this season.
Two days before, Chesham enjoyed a 3-0 victory at third place Gravesend and Northfleet.
The Generals bossed the match, with two strikes from Martin Fox and another from captain Brian Statham sealing it.
The goals from Fox were all the more surprising because just a few weeks ago the left back had looked like being out for the rest of the season with a long-term knee injury.
But he showed no signs of that troubling him on Saturday in the Ryman Premier Division clash.
Fox opened Chesham's account on 22 minutes when he blasted in a freekick.
The Generals found themselves 2-0 up just eight minutes into the second half when captain Brian Statham converted a penalty.
And Fox rounded off the good result when he lobbed the keeper from just outside the area with a strike that dipped in nicely under the crossbar.
The Generals are due to travel to Farnborough Town on Thursday evening in the league.
