A CASH reward is being offered for information on a vicious robbery.
The £4,000 incentive has been put up by Thames Valley Police and Bar Med in Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield, which was the target of the attack.
The money will be paid for information leading to the arrest and subsequent successful prosecution of those responsible for the robbery on Monday last week.
The incident happened at 10.30pm when two men entered the premises and threatened staff. One man implied he had a gun.
The robbers struck a male member of staff on the head and back before escaping with an undisclosed cash sum.
A red Vauxhall Astra was seen leaving the area at the time of the incident.
Both men were wearing white masks.
One is described as about 5ft 8in tall and of large build and was wearing a dark coloured zip-up fleece, faded denim jeans and white trainers.
A second man is described as 6ft tall, of medium build and was wearing dark coloured trousers and shoes.
DC Darren Jones, the investigating officer from Amersham CID, said: "We are hopeful that the substantial reward on offer will encourage people to come forward with more information to help us apprehend those responsible."
