A PENSIONER was attacked and robbed as he sat at home watching television.
The 84-year-old man was shocked when a burglar forced his way into the home in Manor Road, Tylers Green, at 1.40am on Monday.
He put his arm around the neck of the pensioner before taking his wallet, containing £50, from his back pocket.
The pensioner managed to call the police and the burglar fled.
The burglar is described as being around 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build, 20 to 30 years-old and he had a southern accent. He was wearing a black balaclava and a coat.
