A SCHOOL is looking for past pupils to help it celebrate its 25th birthday.
Mary Towerton County First School, in Studley Green, Beacons Bottom, was opened in 1976 after county councillor Mary Towerton pushed for the school to be built.
Cllr Towerton was a well known justice of the peace in the area and she died shortly after opening the school.
Jenny Davis, a member of the school's committee and who was a pupil at the school when it opened, said: "We want any pupils who were there in 1976 but every past pupil is invited.
"The celebration will include the school fete and a display of memorabilia and old photos of old times."
Any past pupils should contact Mrs Davis on (01494) 482607
