DRIVERS from Bucks may be able to help determine how a 42-year-old man died after coming off his motorbike on the M25.

Hertfordshire Police have very little information about the incident and are urgently trying to find anyone who was driving near Junction 21 of the M25 at around 4.40pm on January 30.

Nigel Hall, from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, died after coming off his bike on the westbound carriageway just past the M1 entry sliproad on the M25. Girlfriend Jacquie Apperley is desperate for witnesses to come forward, as the police are unable to establish the circumstances surrounding Nigel's death.

She said: "The M25 would have been very busy at this time and someone must have seen what happened."

She added: "I would appeal to anyone who was in that area at the time and might be able to help police in any way at all piece together the circumstances, to help us understand how Nigel lost his life."

One witness has told officers that a white transit-type solid back van joined the motorway from the Junction 21 slip road and made its way across into lane three in front of Nigel, who was riding his blue Kawasaki bike.

The van is believed to had the word 'Heathrow' written on the back in red.

Jacquie added: "It's hard enough to cope with the death of someone that close to you but to not know the circumstances surrounding Nigel's death makes dealing with it all the more difficult."

Police would particularly like to speak to the driver of the van and the driver of a silver sports car with a black hood.
