MORE than 250 mourners packed into a church in Great Missenden yesterday to pay their respects to Andrew Rein who died in a tragic accident.

Flowers, cards and poems have been left by friends at the scene where the 20-year-old, of Wycombe Road, Prestwood, died after he was involved in a motorbike accident last Wednesday.

The accident happened at the junction of Grove Road along the A404 Amersham Road, Hazlemere.

His parents were deeply touched by the number of his friends calling to say how much Andy will be missed.

He said: "So many people will feel emptier for his absence from their lives but Andy will always be remembered for his loyalty as a friend, his infectious warmth and his lust for life.

"He was a loving son and brother and an immensely popular figure in the area."

Andy Sleeman, Andrew's best friend from Penn, said: "I will never find anyone quite like Andy. He was a top bloke and always happy.

"He really loved bikes and I will continue to ride mine as I think that is what he would have wanted."

Andrew went to Stokenchurch Middle School, and Gillotts in Henley. He lived in Wooburn Green and Stokenchurch before moving to Prestwood. He worked for The Orange Phone Shop in High Wycombe.

His funeral was held at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Great Missenden at midday yesterday.

After the funeral his relatives and friends went to the Great Missenden Lawn Tennis Club, where people were able to celebrate Andrew's life, say a few words and contribute to a book of remembrance.

He also leaves his mum, Margaret, his step-mum Jean and his brother David.
