MAGGOT racing, half-price clubbing and red noses galore will all be raising money for Comic Relief today and over the weekend.

The whole country will be going crazy to raise money for the charity which was launched in 1985.

The money raised for Comic Relief goes to a variety of causes and tries to make a difference to the lives of thousands of individuals facing injustice or living in abject poverty.

There will be lots of events going on in your local area, here are just a few:

Kids at Shelburne First School, High Wycombe, are being taught circus tricks on Friday while dressed up as clowns for Comic Relief.

Animals will be roaming around Longwick C of E Combined School, Longwick on Friday when the children are dressing up as beasts to raise money.

Sponsored beard shave at Sainsbury, Dovecot Road, High Wycombe on Friday at 12pm.

Those of you would like to relax on Red Nose Day should get down to Great Kingshill Village Hall between 9am and 5pm when your can be treated to a back massage and money raised will go to Comic Relief.

Various fun and frolics at The George and Dragon, The Causeway, Marlow, all evening on Friday.

Fun day at Old Sun, Church Road, Lane End on Saturday, 11am.
