I READ in the Midweek of the body of another young man found at the bottom of Dovecot multi-storey car park just weeks after 18-year-old Christopher Noel apparently took his own life by jumping from the top floor.
The latest death hasn't been confirmed as suicide yet but it looks that way. I know of another young man who committed suicide by jumping off the car park a few years ago. It's a tragic and dreadful waste of life.
There seems to be no fool-proof answer to the problem but, if you are feeling suicidal, a multi-storey car park is a depressing and lonely place to be.
Perhaps brightening them up a little might help.
