DIGITAL technology specialist Traxdata is aiming to revolutionise the world of in-car entertainment with its latest product.
Tiff Needell, a presenter on BBC2's Top Gear, officially launched the TraxAudio mStation a £500 digital jukebox at Traxdata's offices at Kingsmead Road, Loudwater, earlier this month.
The mStation has the capacity to store up to 3,000 music tracks, operating from a unit no larger than an CD autochanger.
Downloading an average CD on to mStation takes just six minutes using a home PC or Real Jukebox software, supplied with the mStation.
The mStation, which comes with a docking station for a home PC, can also store authorised songs downloaded from the internet.
Robin Hamilton, director of marketing for Traxdata, said: "mStation is an exciting development for Traxdata and will be one of our flagship products for this year.
"We are investing in a comprehensive marketing and sponsorship campaign."
Traxdata was formed in 1993, initially specialising in CD-Recordable discs. The TraxAudio mStation will be available in shops from April.
