MP DOMINIC Grieve has invited a group of pupils to the House of Commons after they impressed him when he visited their school.
The MP for Beaconsfield visited Meadows School, in School Road, Wooburn Green, in February working with groups of children.
Headteacher Phyllis Carr said the day was so successful that Mr Grieve invited the juniors to visit the Commons in the summer term.
She said: "It should be good."
The school has also been involved in other activities.
Two after school clubs have been set up, short tennis and french club, and last month parents were invited to come and look around the school to see displays of children's work. Children were encouraged to show their own parents around.
Another highlight this term was the week long visit from PC Barrie Feltwell.
PC Feltwell worked with children and the school on its anti-bullying policy, giving advice and help.
Phyllis added: "We get up to an awful lot at the school. We are always busy."
And on Red Nose Day, pupils paid money to wear red clothes raising £144 for Comic Relief.
The more energetic and sporty students are reaching the heady heights of Lacrosse. The sport started at the school in January and the Meadows team has already reached the regional finals.
