IF you want to have fun and are willing to give up an hour once a week then the 8th High Wycombe Beavers would love to hear from you.

The group which meets at Cedar Barn, in Rose Avenue, Hazlemere, is desperately seeking leaders and helpers to run the group every Wednesday.

Holly Lavers, the present leader, said: "Ideally, we need some leaders to takeover and helpers.

"We desperately need another leader if not two."

The 8th High Wycombe Beavers are aged from six to eight years old and meet for an hour-and-a-quarter each week.

Holly explained the positions would not suit everyone as only certain groups of people would be able to put the time in to do the voluntary job properly.

She said: "It is quite difficult if you have got a job as it's quite hard to do.

"So it would be best for a mum with children, or someone who works part time, or someone who's retired and fighting fit."

Men and women can apply for the positions and a police check may be carried out.

Anyone interested in becoming a leader or helper, or for more information, should call Holly on (01494) 533304.
