A NEW manager has been recruited by Chiltern Railways to improve relations between bus and rail services.
Paul Adcock, who previously worked for Stagecoach in the West Midlands, will be focused on canvassing passengers for their views on how to improve transport facilities and links in the town.
Rachel Chambers, spokesman for Chiltern Railways, said: "We need to continue making sure the links are convenient and the facilities appropriate."
Commuters with monthly or season tickets using Aylesbury and High Wycombe stations can use a free bus service organised by Arriva Shires and Chiltern Railways.
She added: "It's all part of our commitment to integrated transport which is in line with Government policy, as well as encouraging car users to swap to bus travel so car parking facilities become less congested.
"It is important that we have a focus for developing communication between every tier involved and we are sure that Paul Adcock will rise to the occasion."
Twenty bicycle racks have also been added to both stations.
