A TEENAGER from Bourne End raised more than £800 in three hours at a charity event in her garden.
13-year-old Jessica-Anne Hudson raised the money by holding a summer fete in the garden of her parents' home in New Road last Thursday.
Jessica-Anne's sisters Jennifer, 17, Katherine, 11, and her 15-year-old brother Tim, spent weeks planning the event.
Jessica-Anne, who goes to Wycombe Abbey School with her sister Jennifer, said: "It went really well.
"We had a bouncy castle and a ball park for children and a tombola and refreshment. and my brother Tim and I arranged a treasure hunt with a map that we had drawn."
Jessica-Anne has chosen to donate the £820 raised to Whizzkids who help buy wheelchairs for disabled children. She decided to hold the event for the charity after seeing the charity website on the internet.
