A NEIGHBOURHOOD Watch newsletter is becoming electronic as a community group can no longer afford the printing costs
Spotlight, the newsletter of Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Watch, used to be sponsored by insurance broker Hansen Golding, but since they have pulled out of the deal the group can no longer afford to publish.
Nuala Orton, sector co-ordinator, said she would be putting bulletins on the organisation's website which she is in the process of designing.
She added: "I think it's time to take a step forward and maybe the electronic age is the way we should go anyway."
A Hansen Golding spokesman said the company was a steadfast supporter of Neighbourhood Watch in the Thames Valley area. He added: "We will help where possible but unfortunately there is insufficient funding available to support all projects."
