RAY Reed gave an insight into personality profiling as a tool to help personal and team development when he spoke to a packed audience at Breakfast 2000 at Wycombe Wanderers last week.

Mr Reed set up Thomas International with his wife in 1981 in Bourne End after a career in senior management with several blue chip organisations including Reckitt and Colman.

Today the company, now based in Marlow, has a multi-million turnover and employs 500 consultants worldwide.

Mr Reed's talk, entitled Empowering Your People for Business Success, looked at how personality profiling can help to build teams, identify organisational culture, and develop a company's most valuable asset its people.

Mr Reed said: "In these fast-moving times you need to prepare your organisation for continuous improvement. If you do not do that, I doubt you will be sitting here in ten years time."

Breakfast 2000 is co-hosted by Wycombe Wanderers Football Club and chartered accountants BKR Haines Watts.
