WOOBURN Park is open again for walkers and dog owners after the foot and mouth restrictions were lifted last week.
Wooburn Parish Council discussed the current crisis with MAFF and the local authority and decided to re-open the park last Wednesday.
Restrictions still exist over the path leading to Farm Wood and the wood itself.
Parish Councillor Julia Langley said: "We still have the railway line closed off and the park was the only area we have opened."
Footpaths and previous at risk areas are slowly being re-opened over the next couple of weeks with the aim to re-open the countryside to visitors again to boost rural economy.
Odds Farm Park, at Wooburn Common, has had to partially re-open to stop itself from being financially crippled.
Owner Steve Vinden said: "We are a dedicated farm park with no alternative sources of income and the impact of the closure has been devastating.
"It is likely that it will be years before we make a full recovery."
