A MOTHER is appealing for thieves to bring back a video tape with precious pictures of her young child's last days at school.

Jacey Hay says that she cannot replace the memories captured on the tape that were snatched in a burglary at her home last Monday night.

The mother-of-two, of Laburnum Road, High Wycombe, was in total shock when she came back from grieving relatives, following the death of a close family member, to find the house had been ransacked.

She said: "I pulled into the drive and just saw that the door was open. When I went inside I realised things had been pulled out of draws, it was all a bit of a shock."

Her main worry was that a camcorder with pictures of her five-year-old daughter, India, on her last day at Ibstone First School were stolen in the raid.

The 31-year-old playgroup worker said: "I don't really care about the camcorder, it's the tape that holds precious memories and can't be replaced.

"There are memories I want to keep for myself just as much as India."

Burglars also took her children's jewellery, including baby bracelets engraved with India and her three-year-old daughter Montanna's names and birth dates.

They stole necklaces, £540 that she was going to use to help with funeral costs for her relative and binoculars.
