HIGH Wycombe closed in on their first ever Lord's final when they beat Finchley in the quarter-finals of the National Knockout Cup on Sunday.
The London Roaders now face a home semi-final against Bath.
Wycombe cruised into the last four clash after a blistering victory over the north Londoners.
The batsmen set the tone with a highly-competitive 234 for seven which was always going to be a tall-order to chase.
And in the searing heat, Wycombe's bowlers then turned the temperature up even higher with a succession of deliveries which were too hot for the visitors to handle.
They raced through the batting order skittling the Middlesex League side all-out for 130 runs as they booked their place in the semi-finals.
