YOUNGSTERS from across the country enjoyed a fun packed day on the River Thames at Longridge Scout Boating Centre.
In the busiest two weeks of the year for the Quarry Wood Road site in Bisham, organisers kept kids entertained with kayaking, canoeing, sailing, dragon boat racing and rock climbing on Sunday.
The site's Splash Days are also launched in July and August, set-up especially for local children to come and enjoy the camp every Tuesday and Thursday throughout August.
Martin Plain, chief instructor, said: "The Sunday went very well, the weather was perfect and our splash days have proved extremely popular with kids in the area."
Following the recent fire which destroyed the Guides' Hut in Bisham the scout site has stepped in to offer help.
Mr Plain said: "When they need outdoor activities they have come here, putting up tents and so on. Hopefully we will be able to offer them help until they get their new headquarters."
