MAY I commend Mrs Pearce's letter (February 20) re gritter drivers and motorists.
Too many have evidently not read the relevant section of the Highway Code, "Driving in adverse weather conditions", rules 202-212.
Neither Buckinghamshire County Council nor any other highway authority can provide foolproof driving conditions.
Often "safety" measures are violated by higher speeds, making roads even more dangerous for people on foot and cyclists.
