ENTERPRISING Claire Sherwell makes money for charity from other people's junk.
The 40-year old, from Marlow, does voluntary work for Amersham-based charity Workaid. The charity collects tools and equipment for use in the Third World.
Ms Sherwell renovates old and unwanted sewing machines and sells them for a donation.
She said: "We renovate them and do them up and get them shipped out to groups of people in Africa."
The charity, established in 1986, has helped several thousand people in countries from Zimbabwe to Kenya.
Anyone with unwanted tools can contact Workaid on 01494 765506
