TODDLERS and children at Henry Allen Nursery School raised £1,000 at an Easter fun day.
The two to five-year-olds took part in an Easter egg hunt at their school in Mitchell Walk, Amersham.
They also had a sweet tombola and lucky dip as well as having their faces painted in a bid to buy learning equipment for their school.
Jamie Shaw, headteacher of the school said: "It went really well. We were very fortunate with the weather. The children had an excellent time. I think the Easter Egg hunt was their favourite activity, and they really enjoyed the magic show as well.
"We are grateful to the parents who made cakes and the Easter biscuits to sell."
