PENSIONER Kathleen Goodacre is hoping Free Press readers can help her with her family tree.

Mrs Goodacre, 66, from Fareham in Hampshire is looking for the family of her late grandmother Dora Daisy Britnell, who she believes lived in Saunderton in the 1920s.

She said: "We knew the family as the Bunces- Aunt Nance and Uncle Jo, and I think they had four or five children. As we research the family's history we just keep coming up against a brick wall but are sure they lived in Wycombe.

"I believe my grandmother stayed with her sister Clara Evans at a house called 'Clouds Rest' in High Wycombe. I thought Clara's husband James would ring some bells with people as he had a furniture factory in the town. Their only son was a boy called Edgar who unfortunately died in 1918."

She believes the Bunces may have lived in a farm or a mill at some stage.
