I WANT to correct an unfortunate impression which might have been left by your brief report in the July 20 BFP about the children's holiday club, Lighthouse Hazlemere.
It would be wrong of us to take credit for this excellent and very popular event, attractinng over 800 children. While St Francis Church's people have been much involved, it in a team from a wider group of churches in East Wycombe and Hazlemere.
Anglicans, Baptists, and Roman Catholics are working together, as they did in 2000. We would not wish to take the credit for their very considerable efforts.
