CBF widened the gap at the top of the Cressex Astroturf Six-A-Side Summer League to three points after taking maximum points from their two games last week, while challengers Beaconsfield dropped points with a 1-1 draw against Marlow Tornadoes.

CBF picked up their full house with a 5-0 hammering of FC Artois and another 5-0 blitz over Days Gone By.

In other matches, Wycombe Hermits had a night of mixed fortunes. They began with a 1-1 draw against Ariston Athletic thanks to a late equaliser from Ellis, who cancelled out James' strike for Ariston.

They had to settle for another point when third-from-bottom Daniel Williams surprisingly held out for a 0-0 draw, but they came good in their final match with a 3-1 win over Velo Royals.

An early goal by Hawes put the Hermits on the way to victory, and although Robertson equalised for Velo, the Hermits came back strongly in the second half to win it with two goals by Ruddick sealing a 3-1 victory.

That win helped move the Hermits up one place to sixth.

They have been joined in the top-eight by Hithercroft who beat Days Gone By 3-0 with two goals from Perry and a final one from Judd.

Croft then went down 1-0 to a Penfold strike for FC Artois in their second game before coming back to form with a 2-1 victory over WWISC. But they had to come from behind to do it with goals from Barnes and Perry after Webb had opened the score for WWISC.

WWISC didn't help themselves by having a player sent off.

Tring had a night of mixed fortunes bouncing back from a 3-0 defeat against Ariston Athletic to beat Daniel Williams 5-0 with two apiece from Shepperd and Jolly followed by one from Scholes.

Bisham Revengers continued their downward spiral last week when they lost all three of their games starting with a 3-0 defeat against Dreem Team for whom North scored twice and Lindsey added the other.

They were then beaten 1-0 by a Jackson goal for bottom-of-the-table Biffa before suffering a 4-1 beating in their final game against Wendover Arms.

Thrifty Car Rental's recent improvement continued.

They bounced back from a 2-0 defeat against Dreem team in their opening game to beat Biffa by the same score.

They picked up an easy further three points at the expense of Tornado FC, who failed to field a team last week.

After two weeks lording it in the top eight, Italia dropped down the table. Their night began badly when they were beaten by an aggressive FC Beaconsfield side.

There was nothing to choose between the teams until Jennings slipped one in under the keeper's arms to score the only goal and give Beaconsfield the points.

Italia then suffered an identical fate in their second and final game of the evening when they fell 1-0 to Dawes' goal for the Duke Of Cambridge.

Toys-R-Us rattled up the biggest score of the night when they put a magnificent seven past a bemused Biffa defence. They also enjoyed a somewhat less spectacular 2-1 victory over Jabba's Palace.

But they were denied a full house when Wendover Arms sneaked a 1-0 win over them.
