THE owners of a black and white shih-tzu terrier called Gizmo are appealing for his safe return after he went missing following a burglary.
The cute eight-year-old pedigree dog disappeared from the family home in Stokenchurch on Friday, January 19 after thieves ransacked the property.
The burglars stole a number of electrical items, including a video, video camcorder, PlayStation, jewellery and other personal items.
The family fear the thieves may have taken Gizmo to breed pedigree puppies, or threw him out of the house because he was barking.
The burglary happened between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
