FILM and internet technology will meet head-on during the filming of two test commercials at a mocked-up fashion and rock show.

Angelic Films and Urban Media, both based in High Wycombe, will be turning The Beacon Centre and Bar Med, in Beaconsfield, into film sets to promote their first foray into commercials production.

The joint company venture will be set in a trendy bar with a gig and fashion show taking place, and include local people on set as extras.

Twenty-one-year-old Andy Hall, of Stone, near Aylesbury, who is studying an HND in live TV production at Amersham and Wycombe College, will be doing work experience on set.

He said: "This is a good opportunity and in this sort of industry you can't turn these down.

"I will just be there to do whatever I'm told to do."

Commercials director Adam Coop, of Chalfont St Peter, is the creative force behind Angelic Films.

He said: "As internet technology moves forward, watching film and video on the internet will become an everyday occurrence.

"Working with someone like Urban Media gives us the chance to put our film-making expertise together with their proven flair in web design to produce some truly exciting new work."

He added the commercial would be available to a whole new audience all over the world.

The completed films will be available for viewing sometime in February at www.urbanmedia.co.uk or www.angelicfilms.co.uk
