PARISH councillors are considering introducing a private security patrol after a number of burglaries in recent weeks.
Bledlow-cum-Saunderton Parish Council is looking at ways to stop thieves who have targeted business premises in Bledlow over the past month.
At the last full meeting of the parish council, it was decided that Cllr Mark Barthelmie should look into the possibility of security firms patrolling the area.
Cllr Bob Uglow said: "It seems Bledlow is being targeted at the moment by thieves."
Lord Carrington's farm, Manor House Farm, Bledlow, was burgled between late January and February 1, with a number of outhouses broken into.
Risborough Turf, Chinnor Road, was burgled twice, between January 29 and January 30 and between January 22 and January 23. Machinery was taken in both overnight raids.
A trailer was also stolen from Alpeco Ltd, Chinnor Road, overnight between January 23 and January 24.
Parish councillors have decided to look at taking action to protect residents and industrial sites, though a final decision will not be taken for some time.
A police spokesman said investigations were continuing into the burglaries.
