FOR the second month running, Buckinghamshire lost their Inter Counties Division match and have put their promotion hopes in jeopardy.
At home to Suffolk at Wing Village Sports and Social Club, they lost 24-15 and are now only one point ahead of Cumbria with the second division title looking doubtful.
They now need a good result against Norfolk to ensure promotion, even as runners-up.
The women's B had a disastrous start to the weekend, losing 5-1 and the men's B lost 7-5, which going into Sunday left Bucks trailing 12-6.
The women's A drew 3-3 with Chesham's Helen Webster scoring three tons in her 3-1 win (ave 17.13).
The men's A also only managed a draw with High Wycombe players Mark Day and Paul Farnes winning their games 3-0 averaging 25.47 and 26.84 respectively. Day scored nine tons including a 116 out shot and Farnes six tons with a maximum 180.
