TEENAGER Alex Preston became the county men's champion when he beat Simon Martin in the Bucks Open squash final at Beaconsfield Squash Club last weekend.
The 19-year-old held his nerve to win 3-1 and take the Bucks title for the first time.
The ladies crown went to Lorraine Sadkowski who beat Vicky Lowe 3-0 in the final.
Chris Gildersleeve won the men's B competition beating Nigel McNeil in the final without losing a set. The ladies equivalent went to Clare Guy who overcame Thelma Spragg 3-1 in her final.
It was much tighter in the final of the men's C competition where Andy Holford won a five-set match against Sean Canon.
In the men's A plate Nick Manley overcame Simon Martin while Jenny Forward won the ladies equivalent at the expense of Sue Lemon.
The men's B plate was won by Toby Smith while Claire Guy took the honours in the ladies version.
The men's C plate went to Richard Ness for his 3-1 victory over John Ormiston.
