THOUSANDS of people turned up for the Beaconsfield Awareness Day on the Council Green.
Thirty-nine organisations set up stalls, ranging from Amnesty International to the Beaconsfield Historical Society.
Organiser Edna Greenwood, who is a member of the Beaconsfield Society, said last Saturday's event, had been a huge success.
She added: "The weather was fine all morning until ten minutes after the event finished when it started pouring with rain."
Highlights of the day included two donkeys brought to the event by the Beaconsfield Lions Club, and a host of activities for children were provided by the Beaconsfield branch of the National Childbirth Trust.
Other organisation who attended the day included the Rotary Club of Beaconsfield, the National Trust and the Fire Brigade.
