READING your article on the case of the paedophile (July 6 'Abuser's fourth victim found') made me think it might be a good idea to get them castrated.
It would be a lot cheaper than keeping them in prison for seven years, with the risk they may commit the same offence when they were released.
We must protect our young people somehow, and I think this would be a step in the right direction.
It would also set the judge's mind at rest as to whether the offender would be a risk when he was released.
