Re: BFP readers save town's cancer centre (Bucks Free Press, July 6)
I AM writing to congratulate ALL who have helped save our breast cancer unit.
A very close and dear friend of mine has just been diagnosed with this terrible disease and I feel strongly on the subject of cancer as a whole.
My father, grandfather and grandmother all died within this last year of cancer and now my friend has it too.
I cannot stress enough the importance of good health care needed for the people who are not just ill, but terrified of the future ahead, for them and their families.
Well done to all concerned.
