THE Red Tail Falconry Display Team thrilled schoolchildren with their aerial acrobatics.

Pupils at Carrington Infants School, Chapel Road, Flackwell Heath, were treated to a talk on birds by the Essex-based team which was followed by a spectacular display.

Headteacher Marian Mole said the children were particularly excited by an eagle owl called Mrs Loppy.

She added: "At one point during the display she flew up onto the roof of one of the buildings and did not want to come back down. The children all went inside and she was still up there when they came back.

"There was also a three-month-old owl from India which was still really fluffy the children really liked him as well."
