BEACONSFIELD Cricket Club suffered a humiliating seven-wicket defeat against Home Counties Division One leaders Finchampstead on Saturday.
The Wilton Park side crashed to 56 all out as undefeated Finchampstead notched up their fourth Home Counties win by mid-afternoon.
The Beaconsfield destroyer was the outstanding New South Wales all-rounder Jon Moss who returned the astonishing figures of six wickets for just seven runs in 15 overs.
Beaconsfield managed to score runs off only two of his 90 deliveries as they slumped to their lowest league score.
Top scorer for Beaconsfield was Steve Lynch with 16, who helped take their innings beyond lunch.
When Finchampstead batted, Beaconsfield had looked promising as Paul Woodroffe and Lee Mason left them to 11 for three, but Seymour then sped his side to victory with more than 65 overs to spare.
The result leaves 100 per centers Finchampstead with a ten point lead at the top-of-the-table, while Beaconsfield slipped to third-from-bottom.
