POLICE are urging people to be vigilant after a man was cut and a teenager threatened with a knife in two incident.

The 20-year-old man was left needing hospital treatment for wounds to his face after he was approached by two Asian men on Sunday, January 14 at about 12.15am.

The attackers demanded the man's wallet as he walked along Crendon Street, High Wycombe, towards Totteridge Road.

When he refused to hand it over one of the thugs produced a knife. The offenders fled down an alleyway empty-handed.

Police have described one of the men as about 5ft 10in tall, and the other about 6ft tall with short-cropped hair.

Earlier a teenager was thrown to the ground by muggers who threatened him with a knife before stealing £49 in cash from his pockets.

The two robbers approached the 18-year-old and hit him, before rifling through his pockets.

The incident happened on Friday, January 12 between midnight and 1am on Amersham Hill, High Wycombe.

One of the offenders is described as white, 17 to 18 years old, 5ft 10 in to 6ft tall with a shaved head. The second offender is described as black, 17 to 18 years old, 5ft 5in tall, with plaited hair. He has a distinctive scar on his right cheek.
