PATIENT Tony Elliston has been contacted by BBC1 show Kilroy, after researchers read about his disgust of Wycombe Hospital's hygiene standards in the Free Press.
Mr Elliston, of New Road, Little Kingshill, Great Missenden, said: "I am not nervous about going on Kilroy - I have never watched the show before. I will just tell them about my experience at the hospital."
He complained about how he paid £40 a night for an amenity room at Wycombe Hospital when he was admitted for an operation to remove his gall bladder on October 10.
But the retired sales director was appalled by the state of the room.
He said there was no heating, the shared shower room in his ward was filthy, he found a cotton wool swab on the floor and debris was around the drain.
In a letter to Mr Elliston, Roy Darby, chief executive of South Bucks NHS Trust, admitted that cleaning standards at the hospital have been "variable".
The programme will be screened on BBC1 today.
