PUPILS have turned trash into cash after collecting bits of old rubbish and transforming them into high fashion in aid of charity.
Girls at Pipers Corner School managed to raise £50 for children suffering from cerebral palsy after parading their trash fashion on March 12.
The students, at the private school, in Great Kingshill, High Wycombe, collected crisp packets, carrier bags, newspapers and pie dishes and recycled the trash into high couture.
Fellow students not only put their hands together for the girls but also put their hands in their pockets, paying a 50p entrance fee to the Penn House fashion show to help raise cash.
Girls aged 12 to sixth formers took part in the successful charity show, including Annabella Burgess-Wall, 17, from Chesham, Lucy Allnutt, 18, from Little Kimble, Stephanie Howard, 12, from Widmer End, Samantha Harrison, 12, from Holyport, and Amie Shearer, 12, from Chalfont St Giles.
