PATIENTS are working hard to help a hi-tech firm distribute a new state-of-the-art camera system.
The revolutionary security camera is being developed and produced by Chalfont St Peter-based firm System Control Consultants Ltd in conjunction with Reading University and residents at the National Society for Epilepsy (NSE).
Residents are being employed at the home on Chesham Lane, Chalfont St Peter, to pack the components of the equipment.
The idea is to provide the home with vital income and business contacts to enable it to offer work placements on site for any residents who want to work.
Mike Bergamasco, Chief Executive of System Control Consultants Ltd, based in Cross Lanes said: "We are thrilled to be working on the design with Reading University and will all be based at the NSE's workshops. The competitive price, speed and accuracy of the residents' work is vital to us meeting our deadlines."
The new camera system, known as FreeVu, can be linked to any personal computer network or telephone system and gives callers the power to see a picture at the other end of the line.
