TODDLERS have been getting a bit pushy in their efforts to raise cash for charity.

Almost 20 members of Ridgeway Nursery School in Princes Risborough pushed pushchairs as far as they could last Wednesday for Cot Death Week.

Chris Selby, principal of the school, which meets at Princes Risborough Cricket Club, Horsenden Lane, said: "The whole thing was purely to raise money for charity. Every year we do something for a good cause and this year we chose this.

"Some of the mums came along. It was very successful."

Chris has yet to finish counting the cash raised at the sponsored event but is pleased with the way the day went and believes it will be a substantial amount.

Youngsters aged three to five took part. Cot death Week ran from Monday last week until Sunday. It was supported by the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death.
